5 DAYS YOGA & MINDFULNESS
Short & Simple to release stress, supercharge your energy to have a healthy immunity
A minor STRESS from daily life could makes you feel exhaustion, tired and lacking energy. And STRESS is the top cause of weakening your immune system.
Stress is a warning sign within our body and mind telling us when something is happening. It’s our perception that we’re in danger, that there’s a threat to us and that then triggers our feelings and emotions. It’s a response and reaction that’s meant to keep us alive. You may have heard of the fight or flight response, it’s driven by Sympathetic Nervous System(SNS) which is in our nervous system
There are two branches within our nervous system that play an essential rule in controlling our feelings and emotions.
1 Sympathetic nervous system.
2 Parasympathetic nervous system.
The sympathetic nervous system designed to protect us from life-threatening situations and to help us survive. It’s the survival instinct in every animal.
When this system is triggered it creates a survival reaction. Our heart rate and blood pressure goes up, we may start to breathe faster and sweat. We think faster and move more quickly.
The fight or flight response is all about activating our energy outwardly to interact with our environment and react in the way to keep us safe. When we’re stressed our blood flows away from our core to nourish our muscles and brain. As we send the energy out there is little energy to be directed inwardly to maintenance, repair, or restoration of our bodies.
Our immune system is supported by our internal energy. When we are chronically stressed then over time it will suppress our immune system so the immune system doesn’t function well.
The parasympathetic nervous system is about internal maintenance to rest, repair and the fortification of the structure behind our health. It nurtures our digestion and helps us defending ourselves from disease. We usually activate this as we relax and enjoy ourselves.
Yoga & mindfulness offers many tools to help with balance our nervous system and activate the Parasympathetic nervous system. And help us counter the stress response and the damage that chronic responses do in our bodies.
Yoga movements and postures
Yoga positions, and movements have been designed to work for specific body systems and organs. When performed correctly they help to integrate and harmonise the body so the body’s system and organs will function well.
By breathing deeply and slowly in yoga practice it helps us to create rest and digestive responses. That relaxation practice helps us to unwind.
Meditation teaches your mind to keep a distance from your thoughts. It helps you to sort through things in your mind rather than reacting immediately to a situation.
When you meditate, you see the world differently. You’ll develop faith and inner peace, and you see life and the world less as scary and therefore less stressful.
